Adding Scuba Diving to your bucket list is a commitment. In order to go diving it is highly recommended, and often required (before one can rent equipment,) that one gets certified as a diver which, as a course, can take a some time. I personally got certified through an organization known as PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) and would recommend the same training program to anyone looking to get certified. Past the point of certification, there are many opportunities for "higher learning" in scuba diving, such as becoming and advanced diver, rescue diver, or master diver. For the sake of our bucket list however I only posit that one should explore diving in some manner, and from that point decide how far to take diving in your own life.
Diving in different locations is the part of my bucket list that I have yet to fulfill. I have dived a few times in Florida, at sights such as the City of Washington
, the Benwood, and Horseshoe reef among others. These few locations don't even begin to scratch the surface of what diving has to offer. For my own personal bucket list I would like to dive at two locations, The Great Blue Hole in Belize,

the Great Barrier Reef in Australia,

and the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador
These three locations are some of the most well known in the world for scuba divers, and for good reason. Seeing the wildlife at these dive sights is the experience of a lifetime, and one I believe is defiantly worth fitting into your own schedule before it is too late.
